I agree, the 6xxx series is out this year. It will offer a much better price/performance over the last generation.

Between the two 5770's, the only difference is the cooler. I would personally go with the Sapphire one as the Vapor-X is known to be a marvellous cooler.

However, if your budget is 169.99 as that 5830 suggests, then I would suggest you get a GTX 460 768mb instead. Virtually identical with the 5830, except it has monstrous OC'ing capabilities that make it match even the 5850. Here's one you could look at. And ignore the 2 year warranty on the specs; it's actually lifetime warranty upon 30-day registration with Zotac.

Pretty dang good card there raven.. Price is actually lower then 169.99 with that coupon code HARDOCP113C. Also, if you ever get it, they apparently are giving a 25 dollar rebate for the card. So 159.99 after 6% discount with coupon and 134.99 if you get the rebate. Has to be one of the best video card deals i've seen in a long time.
