There's only two hack & slash games that are worth recommending, and Titan Quest was one of them. The other is Divine Divinity, which was released in 2002, yet features the most stunning 2D visuals I have ever seen in any RPG. They are much better than Diablo II's, and the resolution scales up to 1280x768. Gameplay wise, DD features hack & slash combat, yet a fantastic storyline and extensive dialog options, drawing inspiration from both Baldur's Gate and the Ultima Series. The most noteable aspect however, is the incredible score which far surpasses the drivel that Jeremy Soule composed for Oblivion. You really must play this game if you consider yourself an Action RPG fan.
Dungeon Runners was just released by NCSoft. It's free to download and play! It actually is a realy good game and has a cartoonish stylized look kinda like WoW. But it plays a lot like Diablo. Worth a look IMO cause I love the game.

These people know how to make games....Though i think you have to join there beta...In order to play mythos...Though later on mythos will be a free download hack n slash..Was in this months pc gamer...Kind of reminds me of fate...Although the same guy who designed fate is making mythos...
