Any Good & recent Horror games for PC?

just bought a new computer and my bf and I wants to play some horror games. using vista so i think its best if more recnt.

well doom 3 , the suffering 1 and 2 , fear + exp , resident evil series , alone ni the dark , alien vs predator series , condemened criminal origin , penumbra overture there could be more but new one i don't really know

You should try Condemned if you haven't played it on xbox360, it has great graphics. One of the scariest games I've ever played.ikwal

I'd recommend more ram. Vista hogs it.

That's decent, but I have to agree that 1 GB may not be enough to run things smoothly.

I have never played it, but I heard that Cold Fear is up there in horror. Might want to check some reviews on it first though.TheDukeEmperor

Yeah, Cold Fear definitely has that atmosphere of a horror game. You should try it.

Have you tried the Silent Hill games on PC?

I know that Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 are available on PC, but I don't think the first one was ever ported from PS1 to PC.

I know that the Silent Hill games (1 thru 3, I never played the 4th) did a decent job of keeping me on edge.
