Congratulations on picking on a kid for something trivial and possibly ruining his entire future. God forbid you might actually take someone obviously technologically literate under your wing and actually teach him with your IT background, which is after all the entire purpose of school education.
Douche
An IT person at a school isnt going to have interaction with students, and it would be inappropriate to do so. He would get in trouble with his boss and probably the kids parents. The IT person is there to work on the computers and networks. Not to educate and take kids under his wing.
ive delt with the fallout of these sorts of situation and its not fun to deal with i spent weeks chasing out silly tank based worms like game (forget its name) in a bogus form which shut down good numbers of our computers or taking them offline for an extended period.im not saying its not your right to have fun at school and im not chasing after a minor for breaking his schools rules n regulations and wanting to make his own fun but im saying that hes going about it wrong and as a result i object to any attempts to give TC advice. why encourage the violation of networks or school rules in any form? parents dont encourage their kids to bully and provide them with brass knuckles to collect lunch monies with so why tell them how to make their network technicians life difficult because "teh internet is free & lawless". internet and intranet are two different things and as a result of my past experiences object to this thread entirely and imho believe an admin should close it for encouraging network compromisation which is basically offline hacking
