Any good PC Fighters or adventure ?

I'm not sure about adventure games, but I'm pretty sure that Street Fighter 4 is the only modern fighter on the PC.

Not quite. Melty Blood: Act Cadenza is a 2D fighter that came out in 2007. The game has some nice, modern mechanics..and it's overall really entertaining even if you're bad at it. However, it has a really heavy emphasis on over-the-top comboing (many people have compared it to Guilty Gear, but it really isn't quite the same as that.)

Note that it isn't the same as the original Melty Blood (for those who've played it), this game is actually quite a bit different. The original game was pretty broken (a shame, because the story is probably the best in any fighting game, ever) ..but Act Cadenza is nicely balanced.

Also, the new game in the series is already in arcades..but it probably won't be on PC until sometime next year. I've played the PS2 version and it's even better than AC.
