can anyone recommend me any point and click puzzle games, im looking more for first person point in click but any u think are worth a play are fine

any good ones are fine, but if you could list any horror based, or ones based on solving murders, anything with a creepy atmospher id very much appreciate it.

age dosent matter so 10 year classics are fine

thx in advance

Although it's not in first-person, Sanitarium is a really good and creepy adventure game.

Erm it's not first person and not a horror, but it's an awesome point and click game, have a look for The Longest Journey.

Broken Sword 1 (Circle of Blood, AKA Shadow of the Templars) has you solving a mystery. It's older, but has pleasant graphics, and best of all runs on the ScummVM emulator, so you don't have to worry about getting it to work on a newer PC.

Edit: eh, you said you want first-person? Then I'd suggest checking out the Myst games.

ABSOLUTELY. If you're looking for something a little more recent, the Syberia series was really great.

Penumbra looks to be right up your alley; a very creepy first-person adventure with unique gameplay. You can get a longish demo here (it's actually a prototype version of the real game that was meant to be a tech demo, so it gives you a good feel for the gameplay and atmosphere).

Aside from that, I'd recommend the Monkey Island series (but not Escape from Monkey Island), Grim Fandango, Timelapse (obscure, but relatively cheap), Syberia, the Broken Sword series, Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate, and the (free) flash-based games of Mateusz Skutnik, especially Submachine and Daymare Town.

I would have mentioned the King's Quest and Quest For Glory series, but I always found them to be too hard. You might want to check them out if you want a challenge.

Second that. Brilliant game.
Grim Fandango was also a great game with a lot of spirit.

Sam and Max and Monkey Island spring to mind with this. There are the original versions or the recent remakes such as Secret of Monkey Island. Also there are the new versions such as Sam and Max season 3 and the Tales of Monkey Island set. I reccomend both.

Sam & Max Series, Gabriel Knight 3, Grim Fandango (though it's not point and click it works on the same principles).
