Any good survival games/mods?

Yeah, so I kind of love the whole Man vs. Wild/ survivorman scene, and I was curious if theres any decent survival games/mods like that. Like where you need food and water to survive, and you have to find food and stuff. I know theres some sort of mod like this for Fallout 3, but any others would be cool.

STALKER somewhat fits your description. Also there were some garrys mod gamemodes that would fit your request perfectly but i cant remember the exact name. Also look for some mmo games that would fit what you are looking for.ferret-gamer

I actually want to make a "survive in the wild" type game some day. I think it could be really interesting if done right. Stranded II has pretty much everything you are looking for but the graphics are on par with games from 1999. You can find out more about it here.

I know this post has been up for a while, but the lost in blue series for ds is pretty good. The Wii version of lost in blue is not in my opinion very good though. In this game, you hunt, solve puzzles, and just in general try to get off the island with your partner.

Metal Gear Solid 3 but, you'll need a console that can play PS2 games.

I'm pretty sure there is a man vs wild game. It's pretty bad though, and more educational than actual gameplay.

That survivor mod for Garry's Mod. The one where you have to build a shelter to live in or else you'll die, and get food and water, if I remember correctly.
