Hey guys, my headphones as of recently are starting to die (lost sound in one ear already)
I figured this is a good time to get a new set of headphones, but another thing I'd really like to get is one with a mic attached. Needless to say, when I'm walking around in public listening to my mp3 player I don't want to look like some damn telemarketer or something with the mic and stuff, but I'd like to use it when i'm gaming and such.
So basically, my question is, does anyone know any headphones/headsets with a detachable mic?

Sry dont think its possible cause You either have a headset with Mic or none cause headsets only use USB or Headphone jack and mic Jack. Know of course you can if they made the cord on it own thing like sperate from Headset But yea.. So it could be possible but most companys just but em both in one cord not two. So i dont know if there is one.
And get a USB headset Better sound And mic and wont Short out on you.
Ive never seen what your looking for but here is what i used to do. I just got a nice desk mic and kept that on the computer then got some nice headphones. What you are looking for would be kinda cool to have but as i said ive never seen anything like that.
this is a very late reply,if you still are looking for a mic i'd recommend the Tritton - detonator. Cross platform and detachable mic, kinda expensive though. Good headset nonetheless.
