Hi, well i tried to set up my friends online for his Xbox but he is using WEP 128 bit encryption and unfortunately he did not have it written down. So i logged onto his internet and tried the settings ip 192.168.0.1. It didn't work so i do 192.168.1.1 192.168.2.1 and so on till the number 10. I don't know why this was happening although i have a sneaking suspicion it might me down to the fact his wireless connection was listed as the 12th on his PC.

His router is a Netgear MA111 and i hope you guys can help. All i need to be able to do is see the WEP code.

Thanks

Start > Run > cmd Type: ipconfig /all The IP of the router can be found in there. Then open the browser and http:\\ and the IP address you just found. Voila, should work OK.

Maybe the person who originally set up choose a the secure option so it would be https://192.168.0.1 for example. instead of http://.

Sorry unfortunately none of these work, when the IP is typed in absolutely nothing comes up besides a blank page, any more ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
