After watching the now playing video of Torchlight 2 here on gamespot I'm now sure I will get this game, I liked Torchlight 1 and this looks even better, with multiplayer (Including LAN)! Like the guy from Runic said though, hopefully they get to release it before Diablo 3 :P

Your thoughts on the game?

I'm more excited for Torchlight 2 than I am for Diablo 3, to be honest.

Yeah looks good, hopefully #2 will be more varied also but one looking more forward to is Grim dawn from makers of Titan Quest.

Nothing impressive really it's the same game with multiplayer now; Been playing Dungeon Siege 3 lately and I must say it's best or how should I say 1st Diablo 3 clone and it's fantastic - way better than Torchlight - not that Torchlight is a bad game, probably best Diablo 2 clone.

More excited for Grim Dawn and Diablo 3. Torchlight 2 is a must pass for me, I got sick of the first game before I finished it and this looks just as boring.

Yeah Grim Dawn and Diablo 3 are the ones I am really looking forward too...with that said Torchlight 2 looks decent. I enjoyed the first one (although it's pretty shallow) so I'll probably like the second as well.

Looks decent, but I hate the tired old potion-quaffing mechanic. The newer games are figuring out ways around this, and I wish they would have tried that for Torchlight 2 as well. hate. potions.

If it comes out before Diablo 3 then this will be something my GF, sis, and I can all 3 get into...

This along with Titan Quest.

Diablo 3 (when it comes out)

and SWTOR.

I'm interested in both TL2 and Diablo 3. I'm not sure how much I will play it after D3 comes out, but I'll definitely beat the game once with each class for fun. It's going to be at a budget price just like before, so I won't feel bad about skipping endgame.

Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn (makers of Titan Quest are doing it) are the action RPGs I'm looking forward to. I'm sure Diablo 3 will be good but I don't like the direction Blizzard has taken it.

In my mind, Torchlight, D2 and D3 are all about loots, DS3 loot system sucks.

It got the same new system that uses D3 which you've got no mana, you collect it by attacking enemies, yes I agree you'll notice minor changes while looting "better" items but that's not what it's about, it's about tactics - when to defend, when to dodge, when to heal and when to attack - it's all needed to be planned or improvised while gameplay

Anyway, after completing the game once, all you do is trade, try to get rare stuff, try new builds, try to get a char to near impossible lvl, transmute objects into more powerful ones, trade again... that's what I hope Torchlight 2 will be as well as D3. DS3 contains nothing of that. Edit: I forgot, farming for mats to transmute in co-op in a secret cow lvl or do endless boss runs.

Checked GD videos on youtube and the game looks amazing. I might have to buyall three,D3, Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn.

Where did you first hear about Grim Dawn? Gamespot has no info about it.

Well it's true it's all about the looting but it starts to feel like griding MMO if you actually after finishing the game try to get better loot, I mean it's great for PvP but it doesn't appeal me a bit; I was quite nice to have thunder bolt thing with the sorceress of Lv21 which strikes whatever you see every 5 sec with about 2-3k damage; I agree about trying new builds - and you can do perfectly good in the new level up system in DS3 since every skill got 2 directions to improve it - you can go each time different direction or combine both

It is practically a clone of the game, except the skill trees and art style. I'm sure you would love it if you want more Fate.

Heard it from this very subforum! We've got a core of very informed posters who make threads about new games, and that's normally where I hear the initial hype :)

Here's the Grim Dawn thread on Gamespot: http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/27181689/grim-dawn---from-the-makers-of-titan-quest I try to keep it up to date as possible. If you want join the grim dawn forums as well...the developers are very open to community feedback. Most recently a bunch of people were helping them with the title screen (ideas, fonts, ect). Just know it's a very cool community so bring ideas, but not any flame war type stuff :)
