Any at all?
SC looks totally like dog vomit on my LCD screen. I picked it up today after 5 years of retirement and it seems to look a lot worse.

The game is at 640x480 resolution, and cannot be changed. You can play it windowed with some programs, but I don't see the point in there.
Look for the .INI, something like SplinterCell.INI. There's generally a width and height setting, change it to your resolution
Example X=1680
Y=1050

StarCraft has been hard-coded to run at 640x480, only, and it's a 2d game, so a simple "make X & Y larger" wouldn't do the trick, and since scaling graphics real-time back in that day was a no-no, the interface would have had to be redesigned to fit with the new rez.
Anyways, nope, there's no mods, nothing. Although I do find using a DVI cable makes the monitor-scaling look much better if you are not using one already.
(or have a DVI input on your video card anyhow)
It's a shame Starcraft is losing it's popularity. It's even a bigger shame it's being confused with a mediocre game. Anyways, Starcraft is going to look bad on LCD Monitors. I'm sorry. There isn't any way to fix it. Since the game is 2-dimensional and is a bunch of sprites, you can't increase the resolution. GodLovesDead
This is the 1st time i've heard of starcraft :(
What is this game about ?anshul89
O... M... G!!! What cave have you been living in for the past decade, because thats how long starcraft has been the most popular RTS game of all time!
btw. Look it up!!

LoL. What?
Anyway. There's no known way to change the resolution of the game.
I actually played the game in Windows Mode, 'cuz 640x480 stretched over 1280x1024 (I have an LCD) looked horrible.
The only bad thing about playing in Windows Mode is that mouse scrolling is a bit screwed (I had to use keyboard scrolling).

Well, to bring you up to speed.
StarCraft is an RTS from Blizzard that came out i 1998.
Since it's release there has not been an RTS that has been able to surpass it. Not even Blizzards own WarCraft III.
And if you've not heard, Blizzard just announced StarCraft II a few weeks ago.
Hopefully their thinking of releasing it next year (SC 10'th anniversary). But knowing Blizzard they'll release it when their good and ready.

Games tend to look worse after 5 or 10 years. Nothing you can do about that I am afraid.
thats true.
Only some monitors has the 1024 x768 resolution. But SC is a graphics outdated game, hence only computers with pci-e graphics card can support current cool looking games. ycdeo
That makes less sense than your earlier post. Just stop now before you look like a REAL moron.
