any more MUST HAVE FPS games?? did i miss one

ok so ive been play my new computer for about 4 weeks and just wanna know if there are any games taht are a MUST HAVE
preferably FPS or Strategy games, dont really play RPG's

so i have installed on my computer:
Crysis - obviously, anyone with a good setup should have this game
CoD 4 - had this before but i wanted to see how if performs on my new system and also because of the multiplayer
MOH Airborne - i know its not the greatest game but it pretty good but TOO damn short!!!!!!!
Orange Box - i absloutly love HL2 and the eposodes are great aswell and Portal is interesting
R6 Vegas - i know its old but i havent played till i finished and wanted to get a refresh before the new one comes out
LOTR BFME 2 - one of the best stratery games ever, especially when i play with my bro on LAN against computer or online
SoF Payback - crap game but my friend let me borrow his copy
GTA SA - its just fun
Far Cry - also getting a refresh before number 2

oh and are there any games that will show off it graphics???

Not an FPS.. a FANTASTIC game, but its RTS.. although the level of detail is like an FPS which makes zooming right in on firefights look incredible.

well ok i do like some older games
and have played them and because im 14 and never really got in them when i was "younger"
so im more in to graphics but i still have played older games, well if HL1 and CoD 1 are "old" games and things like the original doom

well i played a bit but found that CoD 4 was better for me cause i like more of a Tactical Shooter rather than ReALLY fast one like UT3

Oh, most of the stuff Foxhound posted can be found on Steam, and they are older games so the download won't take a while, and you're into the online FPS scene so I assume you don't have 56k, so the download won't be long, you probably won't even notice.

Oh, would you also like third person shooter games, or are you more of a FPS kinda guy?

Oh, and get F.E.A.R. - don't bother with the expansions (extraction point is ok, but perseus mandate is terrible) - oh, and you can get F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer for free, just search "Fear Combat" in w/e search engine. - there's no catch, it's just a free download to help market the game, except instead of a demo it's just...everything.

Escape from Butcher Bay is not a FPS per se, but it is first person and features some shooting. It's also one of the best games I've ever played.

It's one half shooter, one half stealther, one half adventure (with roleplaying elements) - it has great voice work and visuals, and a tight narrative that is expertly paced and brilliantly structured.

You should play it.

Oh yea this is an excellent game, one of the best games I can remember. Great gameplay and it looked amazing especially for its time, without requiring top of the line hardware to run well just like HL2. Easily one of the most surprisingly good games made, especially with movie origins.

but yeah im into Third person but i would probably play that with my Xbox 360 controller cause if its anything like GRAQ or GoW its easier for me to use a game pad
and i downloaded the kane and Lynch demo and that was actually a good game
i might get a "legit" copy of it later

No, sir. The game is all around disgusting to look at. Even with all options on high in 1920, I despise it's appearance. And the gameplay is terrible. You couldn't hit a barn with a crowbar in that physics screwed horse humper! It's an unfinished, broken, lost in translation game... And anyone who promotes it must not believe in storyline or anything NEAR what games should be by now...

Remember, Stalker is very moddable, you can get graphic mods, you can get atmospheric change mods for those whoe don't like the look, you can even get a sin-city mod! (It's called "Nuclear Snow").ElArab

Enemy Terroitories Quake Wars !!!!!!!! The game is great. It's tactical, you can work with a team. It got stats and unlockables. It is the best multiplayer experience i have ever had. and i've played TF2, COD4, halo 3, unreal tournament, BF2, timeshift, crysis, and CSS. If you don't have internet don't buy it.

while not FPS games (3rd person shooters), the max payne series and mafia are also great. just finished playing MP and MP2! awesome games (good story and great characters) even tho they're a little dated.

I think it's not necessary to be a fan of every game you buy; having fun is paramount for me, and while these are all superb games, they aren't really up to today's standards. Lehman didn't specify that he wants to be fan.

I think it's not necessary to be a fan of every game you buy; having fun is paramount for me, and while these are all superb games, they aren't really up to today's standards. Lehman didn't specify that he wants to be fan.

the only game i am a "fan" of is the CoD series and maybe the GTA series also most games that are like Far Cry or Crysis, basically open world games but WITHOUT RPG elements
