We might not be getting it. I know that EA Sports has no intention of bringing the new Madden, NBA Live, or NHL games to PC. FIFA might not be coming either. According to them the EA Sports games don't sell well on PC. With the cracptacular ports we have had the last 3 years for hockey and basketball I am so very shocked few have bought them.

They canned everything except for FIFA and Tiger Woods (see official EA forums for details). But yea It will probably be another PS2 port... FIFA is the only EA Sports franchise that apparently "sells well enough" to keep giving us crappy ports. But who knows, they actually improved the graphics last year, so maby another improvement will happen?

Hopefully, but I wouldn't bet on it. Hope for the best but plan for the worst.

Fifa09 already had improved graphics and didn't look like an old PS2 port... Still they have a long way to go...but I remember reading that they were going to concentrate on making FIFA10 for PC very good looking...
They use a modified version of the ps2 Engine, nothing major.
I played both fifa 09 on pc and console and not only graphic wise but gameplay wise its far better on the Console, stay away from the pc versions. If you don't have a Console go for PES 2010, which is next gen on the PC.

I have Fifa09 both on PC and PS3... Graphics are better on console. Gameplay is good on both.
