I happen to drink lots of instant coffee (strong) and other pep drinks when Im in Multiplayer. It really helps my reaction time and increases my kill count!!
Anyone else seem to utilize energy drinks to maximize thier gaming potential??

BTW - I work in the medical field - CardioVascular to be exact. All be careful when O-D'ing on the energy/Caffiene drinks. Although I probably have Black Tar for blood myself - this does increase future heart health factors. So just be careful...
Not to bore u - but if ever interested, google long term effects of caffeine. ;)
beer. Makes you suck, but the game is just so much more fun. Seriously L4D when a little bit tipsy, with some mates = triple filtered win.

No I only use energy drinks when I have to wake up early. To be honest I actually like to drink beer when gaming.

there's a difference between casually drinking while gaming and getting sh*t faced

I do better in FPSs with a few drinks in me. Not sure why. More relaxed movements puts sites between the eyes maybe.
Just did. Longterm effects of caffine are basically... nothing. Unless you exceed 650mg of caffine a day which comes out to about 9 cups of coffee a day. I onlu drink 1/2 cup of coffee every 2 days. So i will not experience any of the longterm effects.BTW - I work in the medical field - CardioVascular to be exact. All be careful when O-D'ing on the energy/Caffiene drinks. Yeah I got tipsy playing N64 with friends earlier this month and it got to the point none of could even move the characters properly but it was a whole lot of fun.

This was the only poster who drinks a real energy drink, I also drink Monster, specifically while playing multiplayer and online games, other drinks that I find tune up the senses are Mountain Dew Game Fuel for a mild lift, or for the more serious energy craving NOS and No Fear Energy Drinks provide quite the boost. If I'm feeling all natural I'll go with something like Steaz Energy Soda or Guru Energy Drink. I like to drink coffee as well while gaming. But H2O is the best way to go.
Normal (Green)Mountain Dew.

MTN DEW GAMER FUEL!.. i love how they target gamers cause they're drinks are so high in sugar that it keeps you energised to game all night.. AWWWWEEE YEEEEEUH.
btw being sarcastic, i hate how mountain dew markets their drinks to wow players and gamers.
coffee has no effect on me :(Marcx87Me too. I'm a caffeine addict, but the only way it will give me a buzz is if I drink 2 of the big monsters with the weird screw on caps. When I game I just drink what I normally drink though.
