If you have an ATI 5k or 6k series graphics card, and the latest drivers, there is a setting in CCC called "Morphological Filtering". Under 3d->AA
Basically, with this applied a type of Anti-Aliasing is done as post-processing. This lets you get rid of jagged edges in game that don't have built in AA support (for instance, many Unreal Engine 3 based games, Starcraft 2, Arcania, etc.).
The awesome thing about it being done in post-processing is, not only the very small performance hit, but also it can be applied to absolutelyanygame. It isn't like previous methods of forcing AA, where the engine still had to support it.
I now use this in all games and my FPS have signifficantly increased. I used to use X2 super sample AA at 1920X1080 i now use X8 morphological AA with no perfomance hit and it can be applied to any game.
If you haven't tried this, I serisously reccommend trying. Little to performance hit, FPS Skyrocketing. The link abouve explains everything much better
