Hey guys and gals,

I'm sure its been asked before, so sorry if this gets annoying, but any recommendations on a game for me? looking for an offline rpg. I've enjoyed games such as Oblivion, Mass Effect, Borderlands, assassin's creed. I dont like turn based fighting. I like modern, future, and mideival types, not too picky.

Thanks

Fallout 3 GoTY with all the DLC, Fallout New Vegas both come to mind. You might consider something a little different like Alpha Protocol (made by Obsidian...the folks behind New Vegas and the original Fallout iirc), or maybe the Chronicles of Riddick on sale on Steam for 5 bucks (never played it till now and it's pretty awesome). Beyond that mods for Fallout might be up your alley also.

Hmmm I suppose I would recommend Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines

Also The witcher, it might not fit the games youve playied sofar, but its pretty darn good.

Mount and Blade Warband. It doesn't have any magic in it though.

Torchlight is good for endless hours of RPG fun. Cheap too.

different from what? oblivion, mass effect, ass creed, and borderlands are very different from each other. the only thing that the tc said that he dislikes is turn-based, and none of the games mentioned above are turn-based. so different from what?
