Hey, I remember Runescape. My first MMO. I seriously gotta give credit where credit is due: its the stepping stone to legitmate MMOs, and for that, people should respect it.

TBH, Runescape used to be a quality game, up to par with many other MMORPGs. Then around 2006 or so, Jagex completely revamped the game and killed it IMO.
LOL Runescape. Funny. I used to play it religiously and clocked about 2500 hours into it years ago. Now I don't ever even want to hear the name of that game again. It made me hate all MMORPG games. I tried WoW and it's just as bad. Guild Wars wasn't too bad.... I don't really know where I'm going with this so I'm just going to stop typing now kthxbai.
Played it like 5 years ago. Its pretty much like the first game you play before you really get into gaming. My friends told me they broke it trying to stop all those Chinese gold miners. I think they set all the prices of items and have this market or something.
Like someone said above, it's a good stepping stone. But really, Runescape is an enigma, you know it's terrible, but you just keep on playing anyway... until you turn 15 anyway.
