I'm still using Q6600, 4GB DDR and 8800 GTS 640MB... I havnt seen the need to upgrade at all tbh, Crysis was a pretty average game, and its artstyle let it down alot. but I was thinking of re-building my entire PC (bigger Monitors, 3 1TB HDDs ect...) once Larabrees hit *if* they were successful.

But I havnt heard anything in a long while? Whats the current opinion/state of these? Oh and... would I see a signifigant performance decrease is I upgrade from 2x 20inch 1680 x 1050 monitors to 1 or 2 24inch 1900 x 1080 monitors on my 8800GTS?

intel will fail miserably with that x86 graphics card. we are probably going to see double the performance with the HD5800 and gtx300 series compared to the current gen anyway. larrabee is going to reveal itself useless at graphics just like the cell in the ps3. Sony tried to make a cpu do the job of a gpu but it wasn't enough (that's why they put a 7800gtx in "SLI" with it). It will probably have it's advantages but there is a limit to what x86 can do

You might if you up the in-game resolution to match your new monitor(s) higher native resolution.

The last thing I saw: http://www.guru3d.com/news/intel-confirms-larrabee-planned-for-1h-2010/ What the real world benchmarks will be...IDK. Cheers
