I haven't owned many gaming mouse.. but I do like my Deathadder (voodoo edition) though I am thinking of upgrading my mouse for 2 reasons...
1. I upgraded resolution to 1080p. So I would like a mouse with DPI higher than 1800.
2. I also work on music and have to draw precise lines and all (as well as a pretty big gamer) So I am thinking of getting laser mouse because of this.. just don't know which one yet or quite yet when I want to do this.
I have had this mouse for about 2 or so years.. Been heavily used. It is starting to double left click alot, I clean it a little and it works fine, I just hope it will hold out until I actually do upgrade my mouse.
My next mouse doesn't have to be Razer, but I know that my current one is Razer and I was pleased with it.
I've used a Razer Naga, Razer Naga Epic(wireless) and a Razer Orochi for my M11x notebook. The Wired Naga epic is the best mouse I've ever used, the extra 12 buttons that took like a day to get used to are incredibly useful for pretty much any game, not just MMOs and if you play MMOs then it's pretty much a necessity; it also has the best balance of sensitivity that suits my hand. The Orochi is a smaller mouse that is just made to be portable, it's not really that comfortable because its smaller but again tracking is flawless. The Naga Epic is the only mouse I've sort of regretted, because it has an added weight to it from the battery compared to the regular Naga but I guess I'm just not used to it yet, still same concept as the regular Naga, great tracking balance and the integrated numpad is very valuable in any game. When buying a mouse you really should try it first, see how the shape feels in your hand and if the sensitivity feels right with your hand. That's pretty much you have to look for in a mouse.nintendog66Seeing as he only has one hand this mouse might be better for him then a regualr mouse If he can use the buttons on the side for movement and other actions he can play genre's like fps or tps that need more then a mouse to be played.
also might want to look into these mice tc.

I don't think that's what he meant when he said "One Handed", but he is, then I apologize. But no, the extra buttons can't really work as "wasd" if needed.
Have the deathadder and after a year in a half the mouse wheel on it broke (I'm rough on mouses) but sent it back to company (7 dollars shipping) but they sent me back a brand new one so i'm happy with it. Just a warning after you use a mouse like this for a long time you can't use a regular mouse anymore will feel too weird.
Recently got a deathadder to replace my old logitech mx510 (it had glitchy worn out buttons), very happy with the deathadder

I used to use a Razer Lachesis. It was uncomfortable because of the shape. I use an OCZ Eclipse now and love it.
I hate Razer's. Logitech is FAR more comfortable. I don't know what deformed hands people have to think that Razer is comfortable lol. That said I heard there are some nice ones that I have not used.
If you are only one handed, wouldn't a TRACKBALL mouse be better? Wouldn't it give you more options for gameplay?I am thinking of getting one. I am one handed.

Ive got a DeathAdder; took me awhile to get used to its weight and you kinda need the right mousepad for it to take full advantage but it is a great mouse.illmatic87
Ive been using my Deathadder for about three years now.Jd1680aLots of positive reviews for the Deathadder. I just can't get over that hole at the top of it, lol..... but good to hear its a good mouse.
I used a Diamondback for years and it was great, nice sleek feel and shape to it and not too clunky... but now I use a G9 and I think from a technical point of view I like the G9 better.
It feels a bit more precise and perhaps a bit smoother.
Im using a deathadder, its a great mouse, feels really smooth on my mouse pad too, i couldn't go back to using a standard mouse
I'm currently using a Razer Mamba as my main gaming mouse. So far is an exceptional hardware, and those are the main points to enhance (aside price):
# One or two extra buttons in the top would be nice, is the only feature I miss from my old MX900.
# An exttra battery unit and a different recharcging dock designs would be hepful. The endurance of the current battery is great (last a lot more than the R.A.T. 9 ) but you need to shift to another mouse or connect the wire any time the battery falls empty.
# The software is a bit slow changing the settings, but has great room to customization.
Otherwise, the ergonomics and feeling is superb.
