It's actually been out for a while, as it is supposed to be the best of the best gaming keyboard. Does anyone actually own one? I personally use the ****** nostromo n52 gamepad, I feel that it's better to play games with than with the G15... Anyone actually own one, and does it worth every penny?
I have one :) It is definitely worth it, but I don't find myself using the screen often. It does come in handy for when listening to music in game though.
I use it I wish it had more shortcut keys like calculator and stuff like my old microsoft one. Its quite nice and I type easily on it. The screen is very helpful for volume and performance and stuff. Had 2 usb 1.1 ports on it.

I have a Zboard and have gotten so used to it I think I would just plain suck at games if I didn't have it. If I do leave it to try and get used to a normal keyboard the G15 was the one I was gonna go for.
I bought one to use with WoW, back when I still played... it was great for that.... It's a good keyboard....very nice key action, feels very durable, etc.... The single complaint I have is the silver paint in front of the keys is wearing away where I rest my palms...other than that, it's quite good. I don't use the LCD at all, but I love the backlit keys.
I have a G15 and I love the G keys. Also I love making little apps for the LCD. I dont' think it helps at all with gaming though. You aren't going to want to look down at that little screen to get info about your game when you can bring it up on your monitor in the first place. The macros can help though.
I have owned mine for over a year and I love it. It gets a ton of use considering the lettering is starting to smudge off of some of the letters. Having three banks of 18 programmable keys is a great thing in many games. I only wish more games would take advantage of the screen.
I have one too and love it. The macro keys are helpful in games like MMOs (more so outside of them, though. In my experience). The screen i use more for things other than games, but it was a cool gimmick in Prey.

They switched from painted clear plastic for the keys to black plastic with clear plastic for the letters sometime just before I bought mine.....so I don't have any issues with the letters smudging, and anyone buying one now would get the improved version as well.... As for the backlight, it's very strong....you can see the light clearly in direct sunlight, but it's not blinding and irritating if you're in the dark.
