Their lifetime rating is 6.81/10 from resellerratings.com. I've never bought from them though... BTW, which laptop do you plan to get?

I hear that Tiger Direct is a good source. I personally Prefer Newegg myself. I would buy new because you never know what has happened to a refurbished laptop

I usually use newegg, but have bought a bit from Tigerdirect. I have been pleased so far. Just watch the prices on some things.

In January I built a computer. I picked out the parts and found the processor and motherboard to be significantly cheaper on newegg, while the rest of the parts were cheaper on tigerdirect. I ordered everything on the same day. The newegg stuff arrived in 2 days, and the tigerdirect stuff took more than a week. The products themselves were perfect, and it was a better deal, but I somehow doubt I'll be using tigerdirect much anymore.
