Anyone else experiance something similar with the fear 2 demo?

i can run the fear 2 demo maxed at 1920 x 1080, and the framerate is butter smooth almost the whole time

even during heavy combat (and the mech part) with bullets, blood, and explosions everywhere, it was still smooth. HOWEVER, certain "spots" in some rooms, even if they're completely empty cause my fps to dip. like, i kill everyone and the fps was perfect, but i look at a trash can in one part of a room and my fps noticeably dips

it never drops below (what i can guess) 30-40, but when my game stays above 60 most of the time, these dips are noticeable and kinda annoying

this only happened in about 4 rooms in the demo, but it was really weird

i have a gtx 260

core 2 duo E8500

asus p5q pro

4gb ram
