The epic flying mount is 5200g. Daily quests which take a hour give about 70g. On average if you farm mobs you'll make 50g per hour. Say you play 3 hours per day thats 170g per day. That means it would take 30.5 days of nothing but farming 3 hours a day to get an epic flying mount. So for 30 days you aren't playing the game for fun.

You might as well start a "Who Else Hates the Yankees?" thread. The globe is full to the rafters of players tired, tired, tired of WoW (and millions who still apparently enjoy it). The Gamespot forums have seen more threads arbitrarily debating the fun/tiresome WoW question than most any other topic in the last 4 years.

Not to be rude, or anything, but there are probably hundreds--if not thousands--of related threads into which your topic could have been posted as a single comment, rather than a brand new thread.

Yeah I was sick of the grinding, that's why I quit a few months ago when the expansion came out. I played from day 1 upto that point. I enjoy having the time to do other things now or play other/better games. If you put all that time into it and you arn't having fun then you should not continue to play it. One days they'll close the servers and you'll have nothing except a lot less money and a lot of lost time. You should use your time to create new memories that you'll remember forever, not memories of killing X amount of virtual things to get X amount of virtual money.
