So, just about a month ago i bought my computer (below) and its cost me around $1,400 CDN and im starting to think it was a waste of money. Sure its nice to play games and actually get 50+ FPS, sure its nice to play games at high settings, but was it worth the money? Im really starting to doubt. I like to play videos and such but $1,400 is alot of money and im starting to think it was a waste. Thoughts.

NO I don't think its a waste of money.......I think its better to have a seprate PC for gameing that way you can use all its space and power specially for games and your normal PC will be clear for everything else.

Having everything on one Hard Drive is too much.

Don't think of it as a waste - you've got a computer that should easily last you several years of general use and still be rather fast. You've also got a lot of upgrade options, and with perhaps a little more RAM, you could easily have that computer see you through until 2010 without being incredibly slow.

It's probably not worth it over just a normal computer if all you want to do is casual gaming. I guess people who absolutely crave 60+ fps on ultra high resolutions, but you can definitely play games that look good on an $800 computer. What you gain, however, is future proofing. When it comes time for everybody else to upgrade or buy new systems, you'll still be fine.
