ive tried everything out there. every engine for themes you can name, ive probably tried. didnt like any of them , a lot of buggy, have problems, spam you, or something along those lines. the only one i ended up liking and still use is the yahoo widget engine,and i use the zune theme now rather than the vista transformation.
I used it for several years with no problems in conjunction with Litestep - at the end of the day, I'd have to say I much prefer Litestep to Windowblinds - it keeps icons off my desktop and gets rid of the Start bar.

I was using TopThemesXP, but the VTP you just pointed out takes the cake. If Gamespot has a rep system, I'd be sure to raise yours a couple points. Is Vista really that good? I've seen a skin of it for windowsblinds but really didnt know if i should get it. I'll have to try it out. What is it again? Vista Transformation Pack?
Vista Transformation pack is made by Windows X, and it basically changes your system files. If your scared of the changes, make a system restore point. It looks almost just like Vista, except for desktop search. It comes with Desktop X, if you don't like Yahoo Widgets. If you already have WindowBlinds, he made a visual style for xp on WindowBlinds also. Like on vista? Well, as far as i know, I think you can use Window X's Vista skin for WindowBlinds if you have it. Otherwise, you can try a transparency window, but then it makes everything transparent..
