Anyone getting Bastion?

Today Bastion gets released on PC and I am wondering who is going to get this action rpg?

I played about an hour on xbox of it and it was very fun. The voice acting/naration is wicked, gameplay is fun and its got a nice bit of soul to it.

Cant wait to see how the pc version looks and runs.

Also for those that dont know already, ex-gamespot reviewer GREG K helped work on this game ;)

If you want a good cheaper priced game check this one out (dont be thrown off by its graphics, its a pretty good game).

Few hours and we can download it off of steam :D

The Limbo and Braid comparisons really turned me off. I might get it on sale, From Dust is the real deal for now.

I'm about to order it, no incentive for pre-order this time. I love this new trend of XBLA games coming to PC quickly versus months later, if at all. Hearing on Xbox release it would be coming PC I decided to hold out, though it was difficult for me as I tend to love these sorts of games. Once I saw it on steam and knew my wait would be a short one I was ecstatic. I hope developers, if not Microsoft, continue to see the benefit of releasing on multiple platforms at once especially since porting XBLA games to PC shouldn't be much of a stretch.

Exactly what I thought when I played it! Along with some wicked voice acting hehe.

I just played the demo, didn't really impress me at all especially after all the hype its been getting.

Looks like it's gonna be just SPAZ and From Dust for me.

Demos rarely give me a good idea about a game (unless its an online shooter).

In RPGS especially demos can be pretty meh and not a good representation of the game

I liked the demo, especially the music and the narrator. I'll buy it later this year.

I am interested in the game. That is for sure, though I do not know when I will get it.

Just played it for a few hours and it is fantastic! The combat, art, and voice acting is all top-notch. I kept on trying to stop playing, but the game somehow kept pulling me in and before I knew it I was already playing another mission :P

It's an incredible game. One of my favourite games of the year so far.

Just enjoy this game and like letting people know about new games that come to pc :)

Played it for a bit and loved it! Everything about it so far just gels perfectly with the music / narration / graphics / and gameplay.

Think ill be buying it after deus ex HR drops.

What's strange is that it doesnt seem to have controller support, but the kb/m works fine despite some minor limitations of the digital WASD keys as opposed to an analog stick--making movement through it's mostly diagonal narrow paths rather difficult..illmatic87

I believe I will. It'll make for an excellent distraction during breaks, when I quit smoking. Those 15 minutes between classes can be downright hellish when you suddenly have no idea what to use them for.

I am going to try the demo when I have time. I have no credit card though so even if I like it I would have to wait for it to hit retail shelves here in Canada.

You can buy prepaid visa/mastercard's from gas stations like 7-11 in Canada bud. Buy em in 15-25 or 50$ cards. They also work on steam, good for people who dont have credit card :)

I know I said this before,,,but I really mean this. Buy this game! Especially if you are a fan of Diablo or Torchlight. To be honest I played the demo and wasnt too keen on it, but once you play the ectual game and start upgrading your stuff it becoes twice the game.

Awesome I plan on getting the soundtrack edition.

I am a musician, one of my main influences are VideoGames soundtracks...

I mean seriously. look at Diablo, C&C (RA included), Parasite Eve, Silent Hill, Metal Gear, Zelda, Halo. (and soooo much more) So much wonderfuly written music!

This game screams for use with my Razer Onza.

Downloading it now, got the soundtrack edition.:D Will post how it is in a couple of days in this same thread instead of making a new one!

I enjoyed the demo, will pick it up later in the year.
