I was just wondering how many people were going to pick up Halo 2 PC, personally I loved the first one on PC and will be picking it up. Its not really for any reason since I alread own and have beaten it a few times on the Xbox, but rather I really want to play it with the mouse and keyboard and just play it as a PC game. I really wish they didn't make it Windows Vista only, but we will all need to upgrade sometime.
At this point, if I want to play Halo 2, I'd get a used Xbox.
For myself, I know this isn't everyone's opinion. I refuse to cripple my PC with Vista, just to play a doggamn game. Besides, I have Windows XP Professional, this means I cannot upgrade to Vista Home Premium. Because of Vista's upgrade policy, I would have to get the Ultimate version. To pay that much money to play the stupid game, I would be just better off walking to an EB/GameStop and buying a used XBox.
I dont have Vista and i wont be upgrading anytime soon. My computer run all the latest games with max detail. When i finally do upgrade to Vista i'll get a DX10 video card. But thats too far off to think about now. Games like Halo 2 that are Vista only.. bah. If companies want to be stupid enough to limit their games to certain markets, then im happy not to play them.
i might buy it for my brother since he has vista and is a halo fan... it would also be a great way to pull him in PC FPSs :evil: im glad halo2 is coming to pc :D
No, for the following reasons: - There are better shooters out there that I haven't played yet, and some that are just coming out. - I didn't like Halo1. - I don't have Vista, and I'm not planning to get it soon. - I recent MS decision to make it require Vista, especially when it doesn't even have DX10.
No for a couple of reasons. I wasn't impressed with Halo, seemed like a pretty mediocre game to me. Secondly, I'm not upgrading my os just to play a game.
Voted No. There is no point in playing this game now, if you ask about Halo3 than the answer would be, maybe. Depends on how good the single player will be, course I hated halo's multi player part.
