Anyone have any idea about starcraft 2's release date?

I keep seeing online that some predicted it was to come out a year ago, and others last month.. is it close to coming out? It's gotta be perfect if its taking this long.. What are you predictions?

Well, since Blizzard started to send beta invitations, and the rumors say we'll see the beta in May, I guess autumn...

Blizzard has only said "when it's ready" so nobody knows anything. Yeah, the beta is being released, and that is going to cause a lot of speculation, but still, nobody will know anything concrete until blizzard decides to tell us when it will be released.

autmumn or winter would be my guess, although given their normal rapidity I wouldn't be suprised if it ended up being next year (or even 2011)
