I updated Fallout 3 to 1.1 and as soon as I loaded up my last save it just crashed. I rebooted, same thing it turned out that it corrupted my save file. Also Im haveing issues in VATS now. My perks in VATS dont seem to do much and it takes a while to load up this never happened before 1.1. I also cant Alt+tab anymore. These are just the issues I had in the first few minutes. I gave up afterwards and now I have to wait for a new patch. Some people have it much worse. Did this patch do anything good for anyone?

Well, I started the game with the 1.0.0.15 and outside the vault the game keeps crashing, I've already uninstalled the game. I need to try the game without any patch lol.

my experience was a little different. i had a gtx 280 come in, installed it, tried to run fallout, updated, and it crashed constantly. i found the previous licensed drivers for the 280 and now it runs.

And you're OK with that? Did this patch do anything good for you? The combonation of the two made the game unplayable for me. Then there is the other odd little ocasional stuttering and no Im not about to run this game with no AA it looks like crap. My overclocked GTX280 should be able to handle a shoddy console port at 1680x1050 with a bit of AA.
