If so what would you say about it? I mean when the signal is a full strength is it as good as using an Ethernet cable?
Thanks

Actually in Call of Duty you will notice lag every 60 seconds. This is because there is a service in the background checking the network every 60 seconds. On XP it's called Wireless Zero Configuration. Turn it off. I'm on Vista and I use WLAN Optimizer to counteract this.coulyThat sucks!
[QUOTE="ac3upmysleeve"]This isn't always the case but I find that in general wired = a touch more reliable than wirelesscoulyI agree, but i don't have a long enough cable. Also, I get interference from other devices sometimes. very annoying. I've used a mixture of wired and wireless LAN for years now and have never had an issue with either. Maybe you need to buy better quality hardware?

Wrong Wired will ALWAYS be better, wireless signal has to rebound/reflect off objects to reach the PC. A CAT6 Unshielded Pair Network Cable is dedicated to send the signal through straight, without any interference...FelipeInsideNo one is argueing that what so ever.. But you won't NOTICE A DIFFERENCE what so ever for playing video games.. If you do, its so small like maybe a few second greater load times that if you are bothered by this you must be the most anal person ever.
