Hey, I have not been playing strategy games for quite some time now and I am now suddenly very eager to find a specific game I tried the demo of a long time ago. it's real time without any magic or fantasy - nor is it medieval from what i can remember and it has many different nations you can play .. Americans, Brits, Germans, Russians, etc. I am 100% sure it's not rise of nations, age of empires, empire earth or the most mainstream games, but something similar maybe also with a similar name "nations" or "empire" or something like that. the characteristics of the game besides everything from aircraft carriers, amphibious ships and airports is that all nations have a known/famous monument you can build, what the monument does depends on which nation you play as, but examples are nuclear missiles, parachute drops etc. When playing as british or americans i can remember the commandoes having the ability to use dynamite on building or use camouflage. Despite all this, I am really struggling to find the name of it... can't be older than 2003-2004, I believe. Would anyone happen to know which game im talking about? would be of enormous help if anyone had known :)
Are you sure the game is real time strategy? By the way you are describing it, it sounds a lot like one of the Civilization games, but those are all turn based strategy.
Yeah I'm positive it is not turn based or anything like that, it's very similar to the games you've listed above in means of buildings and units but it's none of those games im afraid. the walls you can build in the game are unusually thick and future'ish from what i remember... quite distinctive from other games. It's all i can think of really, would be so cool to find this game again :)
