no probs withthe ram. i hav a 4400+ that works fine with it vista has problems with all current sound cards, so i wouldnt splurge too much on it and i hav no exp w/ the 8800, but ive heard it runs better on an xp sys, but hey, there still arent any officialdx10 games to try it with
