Anyone still play Rift (MMO)?

I just jumped back in after getting a bit burned out on WoW again.

Curious how the population is and if they have done much with the game.

I bought rift got to level 5 leveling is boring and long like wow i really don't understand why it has to be so long everyone and repetitive. Everyone knows how to play mmo's now no need for a 2-3 month tutorial, and to those who don't should get a more in depth tutorial with voice acting to tech you instead of reading a paragraph every quest.
