Anyone still play starship troopers?.

Well i quite liked it, i never really go by reviews, but by trying the game itself, there was quite a few players when the game was released.

I own it and keep meaning to replay it. I think the game is awful later on, but the opening level or two are just great.

I think all of the themed bugs are just silly. The sniper bug, the weird rocket launcher monster bug thing, the giant rhino bug - they may make the game diverse, but I just hated them. I think the generic arachnid, the winged thing and the giant beetles were all we needed.

But yeah, I do love the opening few levels. The indiscriminate arachnid slaughter is glorious. I might install it this weekend, actually.

I'm on a very dodgy wifi that's pretty bad for FPS a lot of the time (and I'm in UK, so if you're US say hello to my 500 ping), but sure I'd be willing to give it a shot sometime.

I do, my neighbour got it for 10 euros at the mall and I play it more than him. I install it every six months or so, play it a bit and uninstall.

Played it, but it wasn't the greatest game out there.

The levels wehre you must continually hold off swarms of bugs were the kind I enjoyed, but some of the later levels were not that good, focussing more on specific class bugs.

I uninstalled it long ago, but should get it out again just to play something else.

Add me as a freind please if any of you fancy playing online:), i really liked the co-op part of the game

It had so much potential.

Personally I found the game to be like a inferiour serious sam - though better than 'Will Rock'.

Heck I wish the RTS StarShip Troopers game from Blue Tounge reached its potential.
