Runs perfectly on GTX 760 and i5 3570k, max settings 1080p and a solid 60 fps. I just beat a boss named Mistral and it was a pretty badass battle. If you get it dont expect MGS4, it has similar design and takes place in same world but this is a hack n slash action game

How big is the download? I wish Steam showed this before you buy.

A whopping 25GB, dont get me wrong the game looks pretty good but I think that is a bit much. Too note if you plan to plan to play with controller the buttons displayed on screen are keyboard only.

Thanks, I was planning to play with KB anyway.
But another game at a huge 25GB, damn..... c'mon Australia, give me more download quota !!!
EDIT: stuff it, I bought it. I was going to wait for reviews but I love the MG Series and we need to show KONAMI that we want Metal Gear 5 on PC.
And I'm gonna use work's internet to download it, MUAHAHAHAAHH !!!

That is the same reason I convince myself to get it, I just want Konami and platinum to know PC gamers want their games and will buy them. I doubt we will see MGS5 on PC but I will hope.

I have my PS4 ready for both MGS5 versions, but I agree it should also be on PC.
I wonder if it looks any better than the console versions?
It is 1080p and alot of the textures are pretty high res. After playing the 360 demo and then this, the difference is easily recognizable. Any game in 1080p will look better than a sub HD console game.
@redskins26rocs: So just the usual PC port increase, okay
What do you expect a different game?
I am perfectly fine with ports that are just higher res and 60 fps.

It did not really have crazy hype so I dont think it was a huge priority and Platinum is probably busy. This was probably just a small team doing this on the side maybe to get some experience or see if they have a market on the platform for both PLatinum and Konami games

Well I hope they don't ignore the popularity its getting atm. Seeing their other games on PC would be nice
Its good but the autosave is not working so I can't play cant run as admin to fix it because windows 8.1 is garbage.

Oh no. I have Win8.1 and will report back once downloaded and installed.
Why can't you run as admin?
What kind of name is Revengeance? Is that even a word?
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/revengeance
What a stupid word. Kotaku agrees with me.
Well I never read Kotaku but how about LEVOLUTION !!!

That's pretty stupid as well but it's a play on a word, not an actual word. And at least they didn't name their game BATTLEFIELD 4: LEVOLUTION.
Revengeance is just...dumb. And redundant.

I have 8.1 and have no issues

Would be surprised if it didn't, I mean I've seen better graphics on mobile games to be honest.
Not saying the game isn't fun, quite opposite of that BUT graphics are just horrible for 2014.

I must have low standards because the visuals look fine to me and I have never seen a mobile game that looked near as good hell Raidens character model alone looks fantastic I have never seen anything like that in a mobile game.
@redskins26rocs: So just the usual PC port increase, okay
The shadows look significant better and the lighting (both in the environment and attack) look a lot better. Textures are more polished and you get twice the pixel count (resolution) along with twice the frame rate.
Overall it looks a good amount better on PC (better lighting, shadows, textures, no jaggies, and smoother gameplay).

Played about 30min last night.
Game runs fine with my specs and looks good too for a quick console port. The cutscenes aren't the greatest quality but totally watchable, and on the actual game you will get a few low res textures but in general runs smooth and looks good. Horrible? no way.

Yeah, and Infinity Blade and mobile games like that are played on a 7 inch screen or smaller. You can't compare. I'm playing Rising on a 27 inch. You put Infinity Blade on a 27 and it would look bad.

I was going to say the same thing.
AC4: Black Flag takes up 29GB of hdd space but the download was only 17GB.
Picked it up for $15.99 from Gamefly with pre-release discount and discount coupon. The game runs great on my i7 920 and GTX 660 Ti. Auto detected my Xbox controller, and went to town.
While it doesn't have every PC graphical bell and whistle under the sun in the options, it does have enough to make it look gorgeous. Super happy Platinum games has delved into the world of PC porting.
The game looks awesome and plays great. I'm running it on a 670 and even with 8x AA and 8x AF it's still very smooth. The swordplay gets really hectic and it's fun to do. I was playing with a Dualshock 4, that controller works wonderfully on PC (other than the lack of rumble).
My only gripes with the game are that you don't feel like you're actually in control at times, especially when the game yanks you out of control to show another cutscene, and the QTE's are pretty f*cking terrible. I don't like the way the parry system works, doesn't feel right to me and I believe it could have been handled much better but even still the games a fun ride!

25GBs? This is what I mean by programs being too bloated for their own good. I wasn't going to get this game, but if I was, I would reconsider solely based on its size.
@redskins26rocs: I have have the same setup as you!
It is a solid setup, though I kind of miss my HD 7950 (I thought I need cash so I sold it). I got it for around only $197 which is a steal considering it has a good Asus cooler. It will definitely last me until I make the move to QHD later this year. Also the i5 is still holding up well without a OC because this game can supposedly cause some serious fps drop in blade mode and I have not noticed any drops

So you base your review on games because of their size? Whaaaaattttt?
You fanboys got some low standarts: http://youtu.be/bT-3U1d5Jdw?t=13m34s
I think I've seen better graphics on Prototype 2
Maybe your setup is wrong because game looks fine. You can tell it's a port but I've seen much worse and some sections actually look pretty good.

I know when I see low textured surface when I see one, I don't have to watch it on 4K to realize that.

I'm planning to have it, I know gameplay is good.
That doesn't remove the fact that the game have low textured places.
It's like saying "wait, you don't own big rigs?" doesn't make the game any better.
