Yeah yeah yeah, PC games are better with keyboard and mouse blah blah blah.

But the games I'm talking about are GTA type games, or KOTOR, Armed And Dangerous etc etc. Y'know Oldies, but Goodies that are a PAIN in the ARSE with just keyboard and mouse.

I'm looking for some mapping software that I can map the trigger buttons as actual buttons instead of analog triggers. I've tried Xpadder, but I'm looking for free software like it.

Any suggestions?

can you even use the wireless 360 controller w/ pc? as far as i know its only the wired one...anyway...i use a regular xbox controller w/ pc (i modded it myself) and i just use it with games that allow you to use the controller...rainbow six vegas has a real nice feature for that and so do the splinter cell games

I use it for Madden '07 and NFS: MW..  tried it with battlefront 2, and GTA: SA, and I have to stay with the mouse/key config...  works much better, it took me like 4 attempts to pass the first mission in SA with the X360 controller, blah, and flying most ridicolous, amusing, but very annoying at the same time

Yes, you can use the wireless adapter ($20)

Are those gaming with the 360 controller (wired or wireless) using any kind of special software?
