I've played WoW too much, AoC is something new and much more action packed.

You say playing MMORPGs is a waste of time!? But don't you see, time is money, so when you say it's a waste of time, you also say it's a waste of money. But if you spend all your time playing an MMORPG, you'll never get a gf, thereby saving you hundreds of dollars in your first month! On another note, I've never paid for a MMORPG subscription and I don't have plans to do so anytime soon. I like playing games where I just make a single payment and then I can play the game all I want. I play games so inconsistently due to being busy off and on, I might end up paying for months where I never even sit down and play the game for a single hour.

I do agree that MMO's are a waste of money, but they are a fun waste of money. I haven't play AoC, but it does look great fun. I would buy it, but I bought LotRO last year, and only played it for the free month, don't want to go down that road again with AoC. I do play WoW, but there is only so much one can take of the same old grindfest everytime you want to use a different class. My interest in WoW has gone downhill sharply, but having saved a pile loads of points for some nice new PvP gear once Season 4 is released, I don't want to quit just yet.

I will probably stick around until WotLK arrives, then quit for AoC, or Warhammer, if it's out then. Would really like to give them a go.

I was just implying that MMOs are just as much waste of time as other games. If Zephyr finds MMOs to be a waste of time, all games must be.

Entertainment is a time filler, no matter what form it comes in, "Waste of Time" is a correct statement, but its not a bad thing. Claiming an MMO is a time waster from someone whos played REPETITIVE NEVER CHANGING Counter-Strike for 450 hours is a laughable hypocrisy.

gratz ur retarded. You can pay 15 dollars a month for a game or u can pay 60 for a game.(like 4 months of play for 60 dollars) So its actually cheaper to play an mmo. IDK about u but one xbox/ps3 game wont keep me busy for an entire month.

WoW has had 4 years to refine what it is, that said, it's 4 years old. Go for the new, refreshing MMO. AoC is pretty and pretty awesome. I haven't run into any bugs for 4 days.

Neither, both are exactly the same game with a different skin. Both involve the same repetetive questing system (i.e. Kill 50 boars), both involve the inevitable grind, and quite frankly the only real differences are cosmetic, and the storyline. PVP is ruined in WoW thanks to the silly BG grinds and the elitist Arena battles, and as for PVP in AoC...well it doesnt exist yet. AoC given time will perhaps be better than WoW if it implements half the features they've promised though.

However if you're going to pay for an MMO, then go for something different like EVE online or Planetside - they're alot more varied games that provide alot more depth.

As for the time is money, money is time reference, I do believe that spending time on an MMO nuetrals out money/time. You invest time and money in WoW, as well as save it by not going out and having a social live - which generally survives on looking good and having / spending money.
