my current video card wont play aoe 3 at high specs and it runs like **** ive currently got an intel card but im thinking of buying a

Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO 256Mb PCI-E Video Card

is this a good idea i mean i think i should upgrade anyway. Im not a hardcore pc gamer so i dont want anything like more than $100 and this card is perfect price. i was just wondering if this card is good for $50 AUD.

crap card....get hd2600 or nvidia 8600gt both under $100. i have the 8600gt and it smokes most games except crysis

but make sure you have the right slot (pci-express) and a good enough psu (atleast 400w but might be able to get away with 350)

Not really, i've got a really cheap card atm, cost me like £40 I'll link it to you:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-058-OK

Not the prettyist of cards but does the job, runs AOE3 with ease.

The card you have linked is better, but I don't think it will make a huge difference, I will get a 9800 in like 2-3 months because 8600 now is pretty old :P

Spend a little more and get 8800GS if you want to "max" games.
