I got me a copy of DAO ($30 game).
You need your proof of purchase, java installed (if email only) and an EA account.
Go to www.EA.comSupport, Email US and choose PC, APB and any reason. Then click live chat at bottom.
Good luck!

well i ended up getting a $20 discount...didn't stop me from picking a $20 game :wink:I can confirm that they do indeed give you a free copy of any downloadable game from the EA site. I preordered APB so it isn't just recent purchases. I got burnout paradise: the ultimate box. I had every other half decent EA game haha.

Well mine was $29.95. Either way, just the fact that they actually gave us anything is a credit to their company. I respect them a lot more now.

What's all this I hear about APB and refunds? What is/was APB? What happened? (sorry for my ignorance)FelipeInside
APB was an online shooter game with a monthly or hourly subscription fee (depending on if you wanted to buy a month of time or pay some for each hour of "action"). It was pretty fun at first but then showed itself to be a shallow and repetitive game. Due to financial failure, the company that made it has shut down the servers.
This is a very quick death for an online game and I think EA agrees and is doing the right thing and compensating people.
SCORE !!!I couldn't get a refund because I bought it off Steam, but I got Mass Effect 2 for free.

I think he was hoping for the title, at least I did: APB: All Points Bulletin
[QUOTE="mhofever"]Try imagining that 5 years ago, when EA was the way Activision is now.Wow, well that's something. EA giving refunds.

Yea, that's exactly what I'm thinking now. I guess EA realised they need win back gamers by being more supportive to customers.
