I appriciate the effort Bioware is putting into convincing people that Mass Effect (PC) will be a solid title but.....if it smells like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....it aint a cat.

lol.. but i will still get it. dont have a console
i got it for 360, is great game but for me it has no replay value
for reasons of loading times, texture pop in, BAD framerate
the game will be great for pc , it should have never been dumbed down for consoles
I should of never got it for 360, but it was so tempting, i couldn't resist

I'll wait and see for myself
Before the game was released I would have given nearly anything to play it, but now that I know some of the criticisms of the game and the fact that we got two great crpg's in a short time that are acknowledged to be better than it my excitement for the game has dipped.
from what i hear, the changes that are going to be implemented will be minor, as in things like inventory and teammate control among other things that people have complained about will be tweaked. but they won't be adding any new content.
whatever the case, i'm getting it when it comes out. sounds like a really solid game. i've been itching to play a really good rpg lately, which prompted me to buy vampire a ways back; really tried to get into it, cuz several people in this forum absolutely love it, but i'm not seeing it as of yet. can't wait for the witcher and nwn2 to come to steam...
Same here. I bought a 360 early January with one of the main reasons to play Mass Effect.... now I'm kinda pissed because I could've just waited and got a better running version with a better interface.i got it for 360, is great game but for me it has no replay value

I feel you guys, I almost bought it myself, my brother has a 360 but I fought the temptations and hey, it payed off! Never bought a Bioware game on the console and hopefully never will. Don't get my wrong some games are meant for the console but some games are meant for the PC. Overall I much prefer the PC over consoles not always but mostly.i got it for 360, is great game but for me it has no replay value

All I see is Eurogamer asking: "Has Mass Effect really got *insert improvement* on PC? We didn't notice much difference."
And the guy answers: Yes.
Good interview, lol. I still don't feel that there is an incentive for me to get the PC version (I have the 360-version). There's not even new content... A little disappointing imo.
[QUOTE="Toriko42"]Meh, either way I'll buy Mass effect for my consolePainballz
You like unstable framerates at 720p?
Well it depends on how powerfull your pc is!
Only people with high end pc's will get it lookiing better than on the 360!

Yes, thats a high end pc!
Not everyone has a 8800GT so for them its better to get it on 360 maybe depending on how old the hardware is!
Dont argue with me, i was only stating that its not guaranteed for everyone with a pc to have a better experience.
