I was just looking at some website that offer to build PCs for you. You just tell them what you want and they do it, kind of like AW. They seem to offer good priced PCs for just a little more if you built it your self. W/o moniter I was able to build one that cost 1800 and it had a XFX 8800GTX, 4GB RAM, and a Q6600. Is this a legit or is it scamming me.

Cyberpowerpc.com was one I was looking at.

I heard TERRIBLE things about cyberpowerpc, but other sites like AVAdirect.com seem to be legit and cheap.

without a monitor for 1800 dollars thats a ripoff

websites that offer to build for you bump up the pice on everything and usually skimp on the parts

its cheaper to build it yourself

i dont know why people are scared of warrnaty when the parts themselves have like 3 years warranty!

www.newegg.com FTW

you can build a comp without a monitor with the 8800gtx 4 gigs of ram and a Q6600 for like 1200 bucks!

1200? I find that hard to believe.

All you build-your-own-PC people say you max out Crysis with a 1200 dollars PC, yet when I go to buy the parts for a "high end" PC that plays Crysis smoothly it ends up costing 1800-2400 easily.

Even if you do get that 100-200 bucks off, I would rather work for the money to buy a PC I can rely on than buy one that I could mess up on and get screwed because theres no warranty.

Case

Motherboard

8800 GTX

PSU

Proccesor

Memory

HDD

DVD/CD Drive

Total after rebates about 1220 or something, and it leaves you with the option to upgrade to the point of overkill later with another 8800gtx.

you are wrong. im ordering my parts off newegg for 930 bucks with out a processor and it will be able to run crysis vary well.
on top of that im ordering a top of the line motherboard that you wouldnt even need. I could make a list of parts that could run crysis for about $1000-1100
