There are tons. Like ones where you have a job as an errand boy or a monster slayer, and you get gold for doing those ques..I mean jobs. *cough* Skyrim.
Jones in the Fast Lane. A really old dos game, but very fun. You start the game with nothing, and have to educate yourself, work your way up and gain experience to get a better job in combination with better education, and on top of that buy items for yourself to increase your happiness. Never seen a game like this before, it reminds me of a board game sorta but much faster paced. Its hard to judge this game since i played it when i was younger so i like it more than other people might. You can play with 4 people, solo, or against the npc named Jones.
Theme Hospital is another good one. You run hospitals and make money by curing people or weird illnesses.
@timb1234: I mean not technically getting a job. But Skyrim you could do this and pretty much become a merchant and buy and sell goods. And I'm assuming you're playing on the PC (Since this is PC forum section) you can get MODs where you have a steady job.
