Load temp seems a bit high, but you are OCing after all. I'd say you're fine honestly.

What kind of heatsink you using on your CPU? Is it seated properly and what kind of thermal paste are you using?

Not sure, NCIX assembled it for me, but the X48 came with some sorta heatsink.

And the temps of the cores range from 51-67c. but as long as it's not going into the 80s/90s, im good , right?

Your idle temps seem OK, how high in the 60's do your temps go?

I have a Freezer 7 Pro and a Q6600 @ 2.9Ghz (Wont go any higher; DAMN mobo! lol) and I idle at around 33/c and work under load at 45/c.

What is your ambient temp and is your case airflow good?

Download and install Prime95 (which basically stresses your processor and tests for stability) from here;

http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm

Be sure to leave the test running for as long as possible, and monitor your temperatures whilst you test.

I don't know what TAT is, but does it test your computer for stability? Or just temperature?

Ok, I put two cores under 100% load for about 10 minutes or so on TAT, the highest it hit was 72C. BTW, I have an antec900, is there a way to change the fan speeds on it?

Both, it stresses and takes the temp. But i prefer to use Coretemp to get my results.

72/c??? That doesn't seem stable. I would call the people who fitted the heatsink for you and ask if they properly applied thermal paste and seated the heatsink/fan correctly.

You should be fine with an Antec 900 case as the airflow is superb; but you can adjust the fan speed. If you open the case, there should be a switch in there that wil allow you to control the speed.

Also, I recommend running the Prime95 program as it tells you if there is any errors.
