I'm just curious. If you are, then of what?

I'm a Microsoft and nVidia fanboy.
I don't really give a crap about other companies and what they do, including Intel and AMD.
i have never owned an amd machine, so i guess i am an intel fanboy. when i buy pc's i only keep my options on intel, because i'm familiar with them, been using it since pentium 133mhz, then moved on to pentium 733mhz, then p 4 2ghz, then p4 3.4ghz, and now core2duo,
its not that i dont think amd dont make good machines, its just that i'm used to the way intel do things, etc, its more a comfort. but if i won an amd or something or got given as a present, i would still treat it the same as intel pc's..
this is also the case with nvidia, i have always used their cards.
I'm an Nvidia fanboy. I've wanted to try ATI but I have an Nvidia mobo so that won't be happening soon.Hot_PotatoYou know a nvidia based motherboard doesn't stop you from using an ATI card?
[QUOTE="filmography"]^that doesn't make you a fanboy that makes you smart lol. Cdscottie
Well if you want to be technical, a Mac is a PC. What you prefer is the operating system.
  :lol:Well I do prefer AMD and ATI, but here I am with an Intel and nVidia rig, :lol:9mmSpliffNo offense but going from an X2 6000+ to a E6420 is kinda stupid. Also what was wrong with the X1950XT could have easily held out with that untill the 9800GTX.

I never had a x1950xt, ive always had a 8800gts. The reason I went for a E6420, is cause I had a E6600 for $100cdn, then I sold it for $150 to a friend and went back to the store and got a E6420 for $75cdn. I would have to be an idiot to pass it up. Imma call eVGA today to see if I can get an Ultra
