Poll are you able to play games as much as you want these days (32 votes)

yes 16%
no 75%
other 9%

as life intrudes work, school , family etc, its hard to find time for gaming. however while some may be forced to give up gaming, others try to find time to relax and play, while others thrive with the pressure of time constraints.

i'm thriving with the pressure of time contraints, its an hobby that keeps me sane with all the madness going on around me. so i have no choice i have to play pc games so i am going play as much as want.

I think its more that when you are young everything is exciting and a new experience... Now its rare that a game actually pulls me in 100% to the point where I get so absorbed I spend the whole day playing it. I think that's the trouble with ageing you get more and more bored because you have pretty much seen it all, every genre and game has been done before.

I would love to experience Fallout 4 as a 14 year old that has never played a open world first person shooter before... I would get lost for weeks, but I am in my 30's so I have already done that and its essentially the same with novelty game play mechanics added on and slightly better graphics.

While I don't have time as I use to, if a game drew me in like it did when I was younger I would end up losing sleep but nope hasn't happened and probably wont because of the reason above.

I'm not sure how to answer, so i have chosen other. My back cataloge is huge, as in over 1000 games huge. But even though there is a lot I do want to play (and finish), it is my personal decission to prioritize other stuff above playing games. So yes, there are tons of games I want to play, but I do want to do other things more.

Of course, I do. If you really want to, you can make the time for things you want to do. I have a family to take care of, property to mind, work, classes, gym..... I still find some time to game. It comes at the expense of sleep time. But, it's worth it. I would have been awake anyway. ;)

Nope. I was between jobs for 3 weeks last year in October, finally got around to playing TW3, still didn't finish it. :/

So many games and so little time. This is reality. The backlog grows...

lol no.

I remember being in high school and finishing all of Baldurs Gate in less than a month, and that was a long game.

These days I don't even buy RPGs cause I know I'll never finish them.

God no.

The 2 hours after I wake up, and before the kids wake up on my days off are the only chance I get for the most part.

No :-(. I started a new job and moved across the country, and my life is just nonstop now. It's ok- it's a good kind of busy. But I miss being able to nerd out. Truth be told, it's been bad in that regard for years

When I was younger, I had a lot of time for gaming but now, I only have limited amount of time to play after my class especially if I don't have important things to do but in some cases, I still love videogames and there are random days wherein I still play for long hours.

Later on, I will no longer have time for videogames due to the intense that I might experience when I entered 2nd semester.

P.S I am currently on 11th grade here in PH.

No. I have to work when I wanna game. But I don't have much else important stuff going on than work, so I can game quite a lot still.

I don't have time to play all the games I want to, but I dont think I would want to spent more actual time gaming than I do right now. I think that makes sense?

I feel there are just so many games coming out these days its impossible to play everything that looks interesting while still having some kind of life.

I think its less of time vs worth playing. What I mean is Im bored to death of almost all types of games. They are basically clones of each other and its hard to even tell where the original fits in.

I have a lot of time as I'm still young, the question is whether I have the money to buy new games which I- spoiler alert- don't have
