Are you excited for Blizzcon today?

Hey guys

So Blizzcon 2011 is starting today.

The last few years I've bought a virtual ticket to have access to the show (I'm from Denmark, so actually going is not a practical option), but this year I found myself not really caring enough to fork over the cash for a virtual ticket.

I played WoW since launch in November 2004 and finally quit my account completely at the start of 2011.

I guess we'll probably see a new expansion announced today, but it just doesn't really excite me.

I'm really looking forward to the next piece of Starcraft 2, but I'm not OMG OMG OMG excited about it.

Finally Diablo 3. I am really looking forward to this game, but I kind of feel that I'm at a point now where I really already know everything I want to know about this game and I just want to play it already.

The only thing that could really excite me is if they were to unveil Titan finally, but I don't think they're ready to do that just yet

Not particularly. Don't really care much for Blizzard games except Diablo 3. They've spilled a good amount on that game already as well so i can't imagine what else they could possibly bring up in regards to that game.

I want a D3 release date. Thats about it.

I doubt it. It doesn't seem like Blizzard even knows when it'll be released. Lol.

Well I am excited to hear anything about their mysterous new IP game that is in the work. D3 news will be welcome. But WOW news means nothing to me anymore. So it a mixed bag for me.

I've got the stream up and ready to watch. The Opening Ceremony is free to watch (the tournaments also). They usually make the big announcements during that. What I'm predicting:

• WoW next expansion announcement - I've already quit WoW, so I think this is the first expansion I won't get. I'm still interested to see where they are going with it though.
• SC2 Heart of the Swarm expansion - They have already announced there will be three new multiplayer units, but not what the units actually are. I'm expecting them to reveal the three units, and excited to see how it will change pro games. I also want to see more of the campaign. They've shown a few screens, but I want to get a better feel for the new hero-based gameplay. Warcraft 3 is back!
• D3 finalizing content - I think they will formally announce a release date. They've had a month or so of beta to see how the game is going. I'm guessing around February for the release. I think we will also get to see a new trailer/cinematic. They reveailed a couple screenshots of it already. There are some undecided things in beta so far, though, like Demon Hunter resources they are overhauling. Those things need to ironed out, which I call finalizing content.
• Titan - A Blizzard poster said they aren't ready to talk it about it still. That's pretty much confirmation we won't see anything about it at Blizzcon.

My birthday is on the 21st and it is on a Tuesday.... Here's to hoping for the best birthday present ever? :D

I would like it if the expansion was some time machine that brought azeroth back to 2004.
