Are you getting BF3 Premium?

Im on the fence. Not particularly happy giving DICE money for the content I havent seen. Plus DICE love to tweak/ruin the base game all the time. If it goes on sale for $25 I'll buy it

BF3 is so boring, I uninstalled it 2 days after buying it.

Yeah I'm buying it tomorrow, I play BF3 a CRAP ton and though I feel like its a bit forced on players to enjoy all that content, its a good deal.

$15 (or $25 if you don't have Karkand) cheaper then getting them individually, along with a poop ton of extras you can't get otherwise, and I play BF3 online more then any other multiplayer game, as do my buddies (who all have the Premium themselves), so its a must buy for me.

I'm sad they haven't offered any new co-op or no spawn modes, but the single player and co-op were pretty tacked on anyways. Though at least co-op had potential for good DLC, especially if they took some pages from MW3 and their fantastic co-op DLC.

Nope. I'm against DLC (but not expansion packs which actually bring a lot of changes).

yeah id buy all the dlc anyway so this saves me money and gets me all the other stuff. I am a rabbid battlefield fan since 1942, spent a ungodly ammount of time in BF2 and 2142, nothing like huge 64 man servers with all the vehicles and **** goin at once I love it. Its just a different kind of shooter and ill will play it all the way till end game even though im getting ghost recon next week and halo 4 in the fall they are all multiplayer shooters but all so different I really enjoy each kind.

Premium is a decent deal if you were planning to get all the DLC anyway... One of the few nice things about getting older is lots of discretionary income. I'll get it for all the extra maps, as I really like this game....

For me personally and I know for many others as well, the most interesting period in playing a game is when you're learning everything the game has to offer, and I think this is a reason why many people who have played for example COD 4 or previous COD games feel worn out on the latest installments as they are very similar and the position on the learning curve is not reset, hence someone who has say played COD 2, COD 4, and COD 6 may feel like there's nothing new to learn with COD 8, and although BF3 is very different from previous installments of Battlefield, after 600+ hours of pubbing, 150+ hours of scrims, and 50+ hours of watching BF3 videos I feel like I've exhausted everything(scenarios and playstyles) BF3 has to offer, but I implore others to play to this point as it takes a very long time before you feel like you've learned everything the game has to offer. DICE has earned my money and I will happily give it to them even for products and services I may not necessarily make full use of.

I want the map packs but I don't like how they have bundled them or the price point. Making me buy the Karkand map pack a second time is not cool. If you can't give me a discount on Premium then give me a credit to use towards another purchase on Origin. I will buy them if and when they get discounted, I'd be willing to pay $30 maybe $40.

But right now, I'm thinking I will just jump ship from BF3 and start playing more Tribes and CS:GO

They've had this issue since Double XP ended, I lost a bunch of progress last week and stopped playing.

Seriously, they can make a great game and I'm excited for Premium, but they need to get their heads together and keep their game running like it should. I always said "EA games come with free misery", mainly due to online issues, and this makes it hard to prove that wrong.

No friggen way I'm paying $50 on a game I already bought. No friggen way. For some maps and skins and a knife and a dog tag that says premium. No friggen way.

$60 for the game + Kirkland already bought $15 + Premium $50 = $125. What could I do with that money? Upgrade my computer. Put it into several steam games in the summer sale.

BF3 is an ok game, but it is not worth that much. No friggen way.

I have no idea how anyone could justify that. They are all gonna be pissed when premium goes on sale. Like all DLC does.

I wonder how long until they annouce BF4 or BFBC3.

Edit: I'll add too that I have been playing RO2 since they fixed it. I hated RO2 before but man I am having a lot more fun in that game then I ever did in BF3. Once you get used to it, its amazing fun. Then when I go back to BF3, I can't even stand it. Sure its not as pretty, but fun is all that matters.

Its like some gypsy cursed DICE. When they get stuff working, something else breaks.

I remember with Bad Company 2 the game had an overpowered M60, then after fixing it we got an entire summer of horrible server lag that didn't get fixed for a while. Like I love their games, but damn this stuff happens too frequently.

Yes because I'm going to continue to play a broken game before they fix it so my stats and progress and unlocks don't matter.

Its fixed now at least, sort of. I keep my progress but it takes an hour for the battlereport to come in and for my main page to change and reflect what I've earned.
