Will you be buying the map packs when they come?

I'd probably only get them if I was more interested in the MP and there was a sale for like 50% off

Has it been confirmed that it's going to be the same way as MW2? If so, then no.

Na. Black ops was fun but I'm bored of it now. Activision will be getting my money from WoW.

no. There are much better games to be playing, and if or when I come back to black ops multiplayer I won't care about new maps anyway.

Only if they're made by Raven, as rumoured.

I don't see myself paying $15 for some maps regardless of how well they are made.

No way, if they're 15 dollars. Absolute rip off if you ask me. For example, you could buy Bad Company 2 Vietnam for 15 dollars and get a **** load more content.

I think I'll pass...I'm insulted by their ego. Full games cost less than their map packs - and it's not like Black Op's problem is lack of maps.

Haven't really been confirmed price wise. World at War had free maps for PC but I don't think the same will be true for BO. I would consider $10 or less for 4 or more maps. I would rather pay $10 to just delete nuketown though.

I agree, Nuketown is a terrible map. I thought this game was going to have mod support.

It may work for certain modes at least, but on some it's unplayable. Great find on the news though.

$15? Bobby Kotick should be arrested for theft, unbelievable!

I'm sure the CoD fanboys will defend Activision though.

I would laugh if they do, but it should be better than buying maps.

My guess is they will. One of their big selling points was mod tools, which as of yet have no indicated release time. My guess is they will charge for them but it wouldn't surprise me if they end up rather limited in function. There have been people alreading making RC race tracks out of care packages just by using the WAW map files or something like that.

Nope. The game lacks legs: is fun for a while, but after unlock all the non-prestige stuff and rank 50 in the first month the technical problems with the ping and the lack of true objective-based game modes made the game boring and unadictive.
