modern warfare 2 is STILLL being sold for 60$.

greedy bastards at activision.

thats 10$ more than what a new pc game is, and this game is almost 2 years old.

and what makes this situation even worse is that 60$ is to buy a Downloadable game, with no costs other than to pay a small fee to online vendors.

are you **** kidding me? i'd rather burn a hundred dollar bill than buy this.

They have colossal advertising and can more than can get away with it. *shrugs*

Another activision game Singularity which came out almost a year ago and was mediocre at best is $39 msrp which is the same price as Dead Space 2.

I did some research and on the contrary, Modern Warfare 2 is selling for much less than $60. Amazon currently has it for $28. But nevertheless, modern warfare 2 will be more than a lot of games that even came out in 2010 or early this year because it is a call of duty game.

then i went to check D2D: price-> 59.95 USD

only reason amazon had it for a lower price is because they were haivng a "sale"

Woah, that sucks. I'm not a FPS fan but Crysis (a game that I love despite being a FPS) is far better (and cheaper in price) than MW 2. You can pick Crysis 1 and Warhead off from Ebay at 1 pound each.

Well the game is still selling. And they did a similiar thing with the original Modern Warefare as it rarely got any digital weekend deals and stayed at a moderately high price for awhile.

If it makes you feel any better the Staples where I work sells it for $49.99. That's all the way down to the price it should of been at launch :)
