i'm definitely getting it (it's too big a title not to get it), but probably not until it goes down in price. i've never really been excited about the game, so i'm not itching to get my hands on it.
by watching the ign review i finally realize why its not scoring so great. the game is made of five different modes, and each of these different modes have real full game counterparts that are much better. its hard to score a game like this high when other games do the same but better.
the thing that makes spore amazing though is that the flow between the modes is good and the game is still good, just not the pinnacle of each genre its taking in.
of course i dont have the game yet so this is speculation.
